Picked Bedding & 23 Week Survey

We finally agreed on bedding for the nursery. I had been leaning towards the pink madras bedding from Pottery Bark Kids because it wasn't "themey." I know themey isn't a word by the way, but I don't care. Anyway, I wanted to stay away from a theme, but then we saw the cutest ladybug set at BRU and after some debate we decided to go with it. Here are some pics:

23 Week Survey

How Far Along: 23 weeks!

Total Weight Gain/Loss: ~21 pounds....sigh

How Big is Baby: size of a papaya

Maternity Clothes: 100%. There's no going back to regular clothes. I think I even need to think about some bigger underwear.

Stretch Marks: Nothing new. However, I am sporting some lovely blue & green veins on my stomach.

Sleep: I got a snoogle body pillow to help support my hips, but I end of getting tangled up in the damn thing, so I'm still not sleeping well.

Best Moment this Week: Finding out I'm having a baby girl (ok, technically that was last week, but I don't care), and feeling my very first kick last night!

Movement: Yes! I felt a definite kick last night and she has been non-stop all morning so far. This is awesome.

Food Cravings: Nothing really

Gender: Black jack dealer was right, IT'S A GIRL!!!

Labor Signs: No, thank God.

Belly Button In/Out: In, but it's very shallow.

Symptoms: Lots of lower back pain. Some heartburn and hiccups still.

What I am Looking Forward to: Next Friday is "viability day." I'm still in no hurry for her to come out, but it's good to know she has a fighting chance if something goes wrong.

Weekly Wisdom: No matter how much he protests originally, my husband has secretly become a fan of frilly pink clothes for our daughter. I know this because he bought some, even though he has never bought me an article of clothing.
