Furniture and 18 week survey

A few weeks ago we ordered our nursery furniture because we were told it would take 10-14 weeks to arrive. Imagine my surprise when the store called 2 weeks ago to tell me everything was there. Nothing has been done to the nursery yet. We still need to clean out the old furniture, patch holes and paint the room. Of course we don't even know what color we are painting until we find out if we are having a boy or girl. The furniture comes tomorrow, so at the very least, we have to move the other furniture out. The delivery guys are putting the crib together as part of the delivery fee, so we will have them do that in the nursery. The other furniture will just get stored in the guest room until we have the nursery painted. Not exactly how we'd planned, but it will work out.

18 Week Survey

How Far Along: 18 weeks!

Total Weight Gain/Loss: Gained ~3 lbs since my last appointment, so I'm up ~15 lbs.

How Big is Baby: The size of a large mango.

Maternity Clothes: Definitely. I can still fit into a few of my old shirts, but I now have several maternity shirts in the rotation.

Stretch Marks: Nothing new. However, I am sporting some lovely blue & green veins on my stomach.

Sleep: I just can't seem to sleep through the night anymore. Thanks a lot round ligament pain.

Best Moment this Week: Had my doctors appointment and got to listen to Patches' heartbeat again. That never gets old. Also, scheduled our ultrasound, but unfortunately it's not for 3 1/2 more weeks.

Movement: None, but I am hoping to feel him/her soon.

Food Cravings: I have the opposite...nothing sounds appealing to me right now.

Gender: I'm still predicting boy.

Labor Signs: No, thank God.

Belly Button In/Out: In, but I feel like it's shallower than it used to be.

Symptoms: Lots of lower back pain. Some heartburn and hiccups still.

What I am Looking Forward to: Our "big" ultrasound in 3 1/2 weeks and finding out if Patches is a boy or girl.

Weekly Wisdom: Round ligament pain is the devil. Seriously, it is a curse upon pregnant women.
