Shaken and stirred

We had a freakin' earthquake last night/this morning! On the east coast...in the mid-atlantic region. Also known as where WE DO NOT GET EARTHQUAKES! There is a reason I endure the ridiculously hot and humid summers, the unpredictable winters, hurricanes, etc. I would move to Southern California in a heartbeat, except, THEY GET EARTHQUAKES! Now I have never felt a quake in my 32 years of living, but I know I never want to feel one again. I didn't even know what it was when it woke me up, but I knew something wasn't right. When I realized it wasn't thunder, couldn't be a train or truck, and never heard the explosion from the plane I was convinced was going down nearby, I freaked out because I had no idea what made my house shake like that. I was actually afraid of going into early labor because I had been so scared (I don't know if that even happens in real life but it sure does on tv). All in all, it wasn't a big deal, but it was enough to leave me a little shaken ;)
