I had my monthly OB appointment this morning. Can I just say, I freaking loved this doctor. She actually listened to my problems instead of dismissing them. Not to mention that she had similar problems with both of her pregnancies, so she could relate. She admitted that she did not love being pregnant and thinks that anyone who says they love it is crazy. She said it is pointless to keep wasting time on ineffective "treatments" for my severe back/hip pain, so she gave me a referral for physical therapy. It was kinda funny how she rolled her eyes when I told her the other docs have told me to use a pregnancy support belt and try pre-natal yoga to treat the pain. My first appointment is next Monday, so I will just have to survive with Tylenol and my heating pad until then. The doctor also told me I could take something stronger for the heartburn I've had. I was under the impression that Zantac was all I could take, but she said that Zantac couldn't touch her heartburn and to try Pepcid with a Tums chaser as needed. I'm excited about the prospect of some relief from all of this discomfort.
In other news, Patches has discovered that drop kicking my cervix is a fun game. I don't care because I just love feeling her move around in there.
