I'm trying to distract my bitter heart and empty uterus the only way (other than drinking) that I know how...with arts and crafts! Usually drawing, painting, sewing, and other crafty things are like a total zen process for me. So I've decided to make some Christmas crafts that will not only serve as a distraction, but also as Christmas presents. Because let's face it, the economy still sucks and we're blowing all our money on infertility treatments.
Some ideas I have so far:
- Gingerbread Lighthouse (my most ambitious project) for my mom & dad, and an uncle that live at the beach
- Snowman placemats (similar to this)
- Snowman applique pillows
- Santa Cinnamon sticks
- painted wooden utensils (still looking for some inspiration for these)
Anyone have craft ideas they'd like to share?
